How the Voting Works
Welcome to the Ride Warrior Choice Awards that determines the Thrilling 32!
Voting in the RWCA opens at the beginning of November and closes at the end of the year. This year we are rolling out a brand new Excel Ballot Sheet that features drop down menus to select your top coasters. The RWCA Ballot still has two parts.
In the first part, voters will be asked a series of questions regarding various park and ride topics. Many of these questions change from year to year in order to keep the poll fresh and responsive to some of the burning questions that enthusiasts have.
In part two, we ask that you provide your top 75 wood coasters and top 75 steel coasters. We also ask that you provide the total number of wood and steel coasters that you have ridden. Feel free to provide as many coasters up to 75 that you feel comfortable with!
Once the voting concludes, we tabulate all the results and create a Top 50 wood list and a Top 50 steel list. We then take the Top 32 from each and randomly fill them into a bracket and we start the ever popular Thrilling 32. Winners of each match-up are determined by the unreleased Top 50 list. So if in Round 1, the #15 coaster faces the number 23 coaster, #15 moves on. The challenge is to figure out where each coaster ultimately fits on the Top 50 because only Danny Miller knows before The Thrilling 32 starts!
At the end of the Thrilling 32, the full listing of Top 50 coasters is reveal along with the Champions of each division. You can also check out past results by visiting the "Past Winners" page.
